The writer, Bridget Purdome, facilitates retreats and days of reflection,
leads spirituality groups, and companions others on their spiritual journeys.
She has a passion for ministry among women and men who are homeless and/or
marginalized.
Bridget holds a Masters of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University Chicago
and is currently working on a joint Masters degree in Divinity and Spirituality with
a concentration in Spiritual Direction. Bridget also holds a B.S. from Purdue University.
The website developer and graphic designer, Mark Purdome, is an ordained Deacon
for the Archdiocese of Chicago, a retreat facilitator and speaker. Mark
holds a Certificate of Studies from the University of St. Mary of the Lake / Mundelein
Seminary, an M.S. from Purdue University,
and a B.S. from The University of Kansas. He is the Manager of Information Technology
for a non-profit foundation.
Bridget and Mark enjoy working together to develop and facilitate retreats for catechists,
ministry groups, and teens.
Bridget and Mark have two daughters, Caitlin and Megan, and a dog, Shadow.
They live in the surburban Chicago area.
